Recruiting Director
The Recruiting Director position is a pivotal role on an agency management team. The Recruiting Director is responsible for implementing the agency's Financial Representative Recruiting strategy and coordinating the recruiting efforts of the agency. In this role, the Recruiting Director will act as the primary recruiter and use his or her interpersonal and communication skills to actively locate, interview, and evaluate candidates for a career in financial services.
Responsibilities
- Developing centers of influences, referrals, and nominators within the community through a sustained level of weekly activity to include: interviews, phone calls, referral meetings, networking etc.
- Prospecting for candidates through personal sources such as: Business associates, Centers of Influence/Nominators, Clients, Agency associates and staff, Friends/colleagues, Industry contacts, Seminar recruiting, College campuses/alumni associations
- Attracting candidates through impersonal sources such as: Advertising, College placement offices, Direct mail, Employment agencies, Internet career sites, Approved social media resources, such as Linked In, Outplacement services, Job fairs, Career nights
- Developing and completing an annual recruiting plan
- Driving the agency referral program: developing campaigns, recruiting/marketing initiatives and other lead generation activities within the agency
- Attending Client recruiting & training sessions, teleconferences, and other relevant events
- Participating in study groups to seek out, suggest and implement new ideas and best practices
- Scheduling and conducting pre-screening phone calls and interview
- Entering recruit information into tracking systems to record all activity and results
- Running recruiting pipeline reports weekly and as needed
- Following candidates through the entire recruiting and selection process through contracting, licensing, training, and onboarding
- Attending and leading weekly recruiting meetings, making recommendations and advising of recruit status
Qualifications (Skills, Education, Training, and Registrations)
▪Bachelors Degree
▪Four years of recruiting experience
▪Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
